This morning I got lucky and found a NIB Marlin 1894c .357 / .38 at the Charlotte, NC gun show. This particular model has been very difficult to find. I put 100 rounds through it this afternoon...good fun. Here are some pictures:

Here it is with some Hornady LEVERevolution .357 ammo. The pointed rubber tip improves ballistic performance and is safe for use in a tubular magazine.

amazing.

i have that book too.

lol, seriously though, slick little rifle you got there.

those are so trim and fast handling, ive often considered one.

you got a very nice one there.

how many rounds does that one hold?

Very nice. I have been looking around to see if I could find one. Already have my 94 model 30-30. A .357 lever gun would be awesome.

It holds 9+1 .357 It's quite a good amount of firepower.

yes, completely respectable.

i dont know much about that leverevolution ammo, but just from the looks of it, it would seem to be quite superior to standard .357 handgun ammo.

(which is already an imressive little round.)

i would guess it would put it in the m1 carbine neihborhood, if not top it.

i think its a little bigger slug than a m1 carbine.

what does it weigh? 4-5lbs?
