    I broke down and had to buy one, Yugo SKS un-issued. And I had to show off my Star with its new walnut grips.

    congrats on the purchase. That is what I am planning on buying just as soon as my C&R gets here.

    Nice stock! I'm in the process of re-doing mine, the grain all matches on mine, but have some blueing issues that need tending to. Figure to take it down to bare wood after that and leaning towards a nice dark shiny walnut finish. The lighter color just isn't doing it for me.

    For the price they're going for, a mistake isn't going to break the bank.

    I'm also looking for a dummy practice grenade to throw in the cabinet as a "display" anyone have any ideas?
