Pimp PPC’s & a Rusty Python

PPC, lol
PCC is a pistol caliber carbine.

PPC guns make excellent range toys. Not much else you can do with them now but enjoy them for what they are, a very soft shooting and accurate purpose-built target revolver.
I want a Clark Custom PPC in .41 Magnum. They did a very smaller number of custom jobs on a S&W Model 57/657.

Or a Bill Davis build in .357 Magnum.

They would make excellent home defense pieces. Accurate, soft shooting, and slicker than goose poop.

that looks SMOOTH!

these guns remind me of 60’s Race cars… Smooth and silky

That PPC is pimped! I shoot from time to time with a fellow who was a cop in the 70s and shot PPC at a fairly high level. It’s pretty cool. Those aristocrat ribs are like Trap ribs!

I’m not so sure that the 60 is a PPC gun per se. The K Frame for sure, but the 60 looks like a custom job along the lines of Gemini Customs (mainly do Ruger work) made for a flash carry piece or a juiced up range toy. I like both of them for sure. The Python looks like it sat in a damp environment/wet holster, or could’ve unfortunately been a suicide gun. Blood and bodily fluids do a number on bluing.
Cool website! thanks

My old man shot PPC back in the 70s and 80s. He used his duty guns and won a number of matches. He didn't use a slicked up PPC custom piece. Just his personally owned duty guns like his Model 19.
When you don’t have “My Dad’s” skill… ypu try to buy it or fake it till you make it!

Just a plain old model 19! that’s cool

I've been out-shooting the old man now for a while. Fun thing is, he's in his 70s and still out shoots most folks on the LEOSA qual course.
same with my Dad… in his 70’s and can out fish & garden me by a million miles! They brought us to this great country with a few bucks in their pocket and hopes & dreams! Strong will run in those genes! We will do them good tho!

38… I’ll mostly run full wadcutters or SWC, light fun loads

sometimes you roll the dice with these used guns. For $600, worth a gamble. Can’t really tell until I get a range report!
The Lee 105gr. SWC is a dandy in J Frames

Been a while since I've been on Gemini's site. I'm thinking it could very well be a Gemini Model 60.
I was looking at Gemini custom rear sights and it looks just like the one on my 60 Pimp

the Colt needs to be refinished. but it’s tight and really nice action. Just wondering how a gun gets that rusty
wondering how a gun gets that rusty
^^^You can almost bet from Blood=Either from what was shot, or the shooter.
Seen that on many, otherwise clean hunting rifles.
Dag gone it=Just wipe offf the BLOOD...Bill.

it’s interesting that bluing around the rust is very good condition. Except the Rust spots…

Yep, that's exactly what blood will do when left on a firearm....Bill.

Gun sitting in a foam case, humidity gets trapped and makes contact with the metal.
