Just ordered a new kydex holster from PJ holster. It's a simple all kydex rig that uses a belt clip formed from the single piece of kydex. I've tried another that used the ABS belt clip and it rode much too high. Looking at Pjs pics I'm hopeful this rides much lower. And since there's no screws attaching the clip it should be slimmer as well.

I'm always hesitant ordering... Many options like cant angle, which on this of course won't be adjustable. I saw another, the light tuck from Vedder that looked good.. adjustable height and angle... but also more complicated and bulky.

I was going to email PJ, ask all sorts of questions, bla bla bla... but decided to just take the plunge.

I selected a wrap around belt clip, 15 degree angle and .060 kydex. I added a note about ride height. Fingers crossed!

Oh, btw... Kahr CW9.

Please let us know what you think about your new holster when you get it. I have a Kahr CM9 so the fit should be pretty similar and I'm always interested in new holster makers and designs.

PJ's isn't a new maker. PJ's is "old school" kydex.

Fifteen years ago, this is how most of the kydex holster makers made their holsters. PJ's is one of the few still doing that. I'm not saying PJ's was around 15 years ago, because I don't know, but they have been around for a long time (in kydex years).

Outbags USA makes a rig for the CM9, but not the CW9. They call it the "FF1". I would have bought theirs. They use a metal clip. But I'm actually glad cuz I'm excited to try this 'minimalist ' design as PJ describes it.

I like the sound of old school! Since ordering, I've read many happy reviews of PJ holsters. It does sound like just what I'm looking for.

You bet ill post an update when it arrives.

PJ makes great holsters. PJ's on the left and a Garretts on the right. The PJ's is noticeably thinner and equally as sturdy.

When I first saw this thread, I was wondering why someone was looking for a holster to wear with their pajamas (PJs)!

PJ is awesome. Paul is really helpful, responds to emails, and works with you on custom orders. He’s making me a pocket holster for my Pico with a modification right now.

I placed a custom order on Monday and two days later I have a shipping notification. I really appreciate how quick he is.
