PJK 9HP and Gold Dot 124 gr + P JHP

I got a box of this from SGammo for the first time. I loaded a magful and tried on my Hungarian Hi power clone. Racked the slide and let go. The HP is too wide and will not chamber or climb the feed ramp properly . I tried the ammo on my Glock 19 Gen 3 and no problem feeding smoothly.

My old mainstay defense ammo were the Winchester 147 gr JHP in the white box, it has a tapered bullet and small HP. The thing will feed smoothly into my Hi Power . Oh well, old guns are designed for fmjs.

Does that have the old humped feedramp? Try the profile of the old 115gr Remington JHP.. that'll work

I used WW Silvertips and PMC Starfires in mine.. never had an issue.

FYI my manual stated the FEG PJK9HP was rated for +p.

I like this PJK 9 HP , shoots very well . i used it for my CHL qualification many years ago, and it just holds a special place in my heart. I have to check later if it has the old feedramp. As far i can remember the feedramp is integrated to the barrel and somewhat narrow.
