We are doing a week-long family campout in that area. I was kind of hoping to do some loud relaxation out there as well.

Does anyone know of ranges in the area? Or, for that matter, interesting gunshops?

Hm. The response is somewhat underwhelming.

Doesn't anyone live anywhere near there?

Oh, well. I'll be here for the next three days and I'll check in sporadically.

Check out the NRA's site for WI at http://www.nrahq.org/shootingrange/findlocal.asp?State=WI.

There's a lot of ranges up in the northwestern part of the state, but I'm from the Milwaukee area.

I remember one county-owned range that allowed-full auto, but that was years ago.

You might want to go over to the Wisconsin forums at AR15.com here and get some suggestions from people from the area.

    Holy necropost, Batman!

It's campin' in WI time again, and I'm looking for info again. I'm kind of hoping someone from the area will chime in this year. I have checked Arfcom (although I am resisting joining there) and the closest they talked about was Menomonie. That's a bit far from where I'll be.

Anyways, if anyone knows any shooting places around Fall Creek/Augusta, I'm all ears.
