San Antonio had a gun show from a group from Fort Worth at the Harry Freeman Colliseum Expo Hall and was pleasantly surprised. Over 800 tables and the usual overly priced used stuff and some great deals to be made.

For example found a couple of AR-15's from DPMS for $759 and one for $699, very basic but a good deal. Also was surprised to find some RRA AR-15 under $800 to $875. Also found a 686 + P with 3" barrel for $759. You really have to look for the deals but were there. Also found a Springfield XDM in 45acp for $595.

Ammo prices were a big shock. Priced the same as wally world on rimfires and some center fire stuff such as 30-06, 45 acp 9mm, may cheaper than academy too.

The only part that I consider bad is the $5 parking fee and the $8 dollar entrance fee, $12 dollars if you go both days.

This group will be here again in July for your info. I don't think I will attend the SAXET gun show ever again.

I think it was the A2 series, the one with the carry handle or is it the A4 series. I forget which is the flattop and which has the carry handle. Very basic no rails just the plastic handguards.
