Please advise: Holster a UPS.45

That's a big dude... I just picked up a Hoffner's ITP 1 for my '9 that was pretty reasonably priced, correctly delivered the 1st time, and promptly delivered - I'm thinking 10 or so days order to receipt...

My only gripe is that it's 'adjustable' for cant, but didn't come with a 'locking' washer, to hold the belt loops secured in one position. A quick trip to the shed and that was remedied.

A word of caution, if you still have the safety on the USP, watch out for the kydex bodyguards(the part of the plastic that shields your body from the top/back portion of the gun). I had one and the bodyguard eventually broke off... I eventually went to the LEM trigger w/ no levers, but I still like the feel of leather better.

check them out www.hoffners.com

Hmm, a UPS-45??? Ae they big brown and boxy looking? :D Seroously though, I've been using a Blade Tech paddle holster with adjustable cant for a little while and like it just fine. I tried using a Dillion pancake holster for a while but it doesn't stay open very well when the gun is drawn so reholstering can be a problem.

I have three. Two Blade Techs one hip and one IWB. And, a Milt Sparks VMII! I like the Milt Sparks the best.

safariland has many

safariland has many. just download their fit guide from their web site. it is a pdf file that is easy to download.

bianchi also has a black widow that is good.

I have a safariland 328-93 hk holster made from safari laminate. it is good.

the usp .45f is a very tough pistol for me to conceal. I have to wear a black nylon adidas jacket or a canvas light jacket. I'm 6'1 and a very lean 190 pounds. a covering garment is a must.

I will be getting the hk p2000sk in 9mm when they come out. I will probably be able to carry that IWB with an untucked shirt.
