    What is the OAL and starting point(Varget) for the 165gr Gameking? Thanks a bunch.

    Yes, I understand what bullet you're talking about.

    You do realize that bullet can be used in: .308 Winchester, 30-06, 300 H&H, .308 Norma Mag, 300 Win Mag, 300 Weatherby, etc. etc., right? All of them will have different OAL's and different powder loads.

    Again - which cartridge are you interested in?

    The Lee manual lists 42 grains of Varget using a .308 cal 165 grn jacketed bullet in the 308 Winchester cartridge. Min OAL 2.75.

    This data is not GameKing specific. If you're loading another 308 caliber cartridge (30-06, 300 Win, 300 Savage) with this data it may be unsafe (I assume you know this, just being clear and trying to be helpful).

    Why even my .30-30 is a .308 (well, maybe .307. Of course mine is old and could be .309:D). When discussing reloading it is a good idea to be specific as to what calibre type you want information on when there are several that fit that particuar bullet...:)
