My wife got excited and went to the gun store(s). We bought a Plum Crazy C15 with a stainless light weight barrel. It is ugly, but she likes shooting it so much this morning she want to go get another AR15. Why now and not last Fall like I suggested? Oh well.

Does any one here have experience with Plum Crazy? And I don't mean 3rd hand stuff either. The internet is full of "I have seen many photos of them breaking in half" but they don't have links to them.

Upper and lower are synthetic.

She also bought a very nice new Beretta 92fs Stainless and a LCR .22

I can't help you on a Plumb Crazy, mine is composit on both the upper and lower. A Bushmaster C-15 carbon fiber Ultra-lightweight. Great rifle, accurate, light weight even with all the garbage on it. It is lighter than my Ruger 10/22. Shoots great and a fun gun to use.

I really think it is the future of the AR rifles. Prices being what they are.

would you like some links?

I think he would. I wouldn't mind that either as I nearly went that route a couple years ago. Cold weather use steered me away from polymer though.

Yes, I would like any info I can get on the Plum Crazy. It is a nice lightweight rifle. My wife really likes it. I haven't seen any safety issues mentioned regarding the rifle, only durability questions.

It sure is ugly though. Looks like it should have an orange flash suppressor on it.

I have a PCF lower mated to an oracle upper. Bought it for a beater AR. Two years in now and has has performed flawlesly. I think the front pin is probably the weak link, so I would take care in taking the rear pin out a letting the upper fall unsupported. The finish is ho hum and they do fit very tight to the upper unit (which I like). All in all it's done very well.

I have a 16 and 18" .22 caliber CMMG that are using the plum crazy lowers. My wife loves them; she is 98 pounds wet so she is very sensitive to weight.

I have used the lowers on the 5.56 and 7.62x39 but did not like the balance on those weapons. I am a chrome or steel kinda guy but for our purposes they work trouble free and we have been pleased these last few years. The price was not bad either....
