Pocket carry auto

I used a Kahr PM9 as a pocket gun. It was satisfactory once the bugs were worked out of it. Back then the CM9 wasn't available. The M&P Shield, however, might be viable as it is not substantially bigger. I like the shape of its trigger guard. The PM's would rub against the bottom of my trigger finger. Any of the above assume your pockets are large enough. Blue jeans pockets will be too small, not leaving room for you to get your fingers around the grip.

Once in awhile the PM9 although it's a bit big and heavy for the pocket IMO.

At 13.3 ounces and 38 spl plus P my number 2 prefered carry is the M&P 340.

Pm 9

I currently have a black pm9 DLC and it's one of the finest handguns I've ever owned , but would love to try a S&W shield but I live in Dunn N.C. And I can not find one . I'm kinda pissed off that these gun makers advertise there product that it's the best thing since sliced bread and you can't get your hands on one and trust me I own several handguns and I'm no rookie at this but you can not find there product. I have tried Fuquay Gun and Gold and they don't have them either , but do have a waiting list.Come on now S&W if you're going to adervertise it at least have it available.

S&W 642/442 No-Lock stoked with Buffalo Bore 158grn +P LSWCHP.

It works.

And if the Sig P938 doesn't have teething issues, it looks nice as well.

Use Smith & Wesson J frame 38spl steel & light weight versions.
I have Colt Pony Pocket Lite and Walther PPK but always felt 380 was lacking a bit.
Recently started carrying a Kahr PM9 that has been 100% reliable so far in a front pocket.
I can get away with Glock 26 or Glock 27 in pocket depending on what I am wearing.
J frame Smith & Wesson 38 Special is still my "go to" pocket pistol but I am REALLY liking and getting used to my Kahr PM9 as a pocket carry gun....750 flawless rounds so far & I was able to qualify to my Agency standards with it at 25 yards and under.
Kahr PM9 is becoming my new favorite small pistol.

P938 a good option except for:

P938 is a very small weapon. Slightly larger than the P238. Has light recall . I have the Extreme model with the pinky extension in the 7rnd magazine. It comes with the 6 rnd mag as well. Ordered another 7 at about $32.00 from Pistols and Parts LLC. Good product and rapid service.

The Extreme arrived and I immediately took it downstairs to the range and fired about 65 rounds. One FTE. Took it home and cleaned it and found one grip screw missing and the others loose. Took it back to the store and they replaced the screw. Next day fired about 30 rounds, went home and cleaned it and saw that the recoil rod guide rod and unscrewed. Called Sig and they hadn't heard of the problem. Told me to put lock tight blue on it and if it happened again they would replace the rod. I am really concerned with quality control with Sig. Check your purchase carefully before walking out of the store.
Gun fires great though.accurate out to 15 yards and I can't shoot accurately much further than that with a small gun . I paid $675 with tax.
