There are two commercially available speed loaders (HKS) available for .32 H&R. 32J and 32K. Does anyone know if either will work for my Police Positive (not PP Special) in .32 SWL. I know the rim dimension will work to hold the rounds. I just don't know if the spacing/size is correct for either. The manufacturer doesn't list the PP as work for either the J or K versions.

Actually, I had to check to make sure the J Frame speed loader is a 6 shot. In .32 it is. They are only $11/ea. But I'd prefer not to own one that I can't use. I'm also in no rush. Not like it is my carry gun.

I would have done that first but the HKS webpage doesn't have any contact information. It just refers you to "your local shooting sports retailer".

Never called HKS. I just brought my revolver ito the LGS and tried it with empty cases. The J frame version does work in my Police Positive.

I've bought one of the HKS 32-J speed loaders that fit the j-frames for my INA Tiger in .32 S&W Long (it's about the same size cylinder as an I-frame/J frame). Worked perfectly! The nice thing about them is there is just a bit of wiggle in the cartridges when loaded, so if you have something that's close in size, it'll line up with the chambers.

Alternatively, you could check out the 5 Star Firearms version: http://www.5starfirearms.com/R6-327-Bedside-Block-Kit-p/jf32706310.htm . While I have not personally used them, I've heard they are good quality, and the loading blocks are supposedly the "bees knees" for range practice. They might be able to tell you the spacing between chamber centers (being a smaller company, they would probably be more responsive than some), and you could compare versus your revolver.
