Sold my AR15 to pay the bills - very sad day...

But I pocketed half of the funds and got a polish tantal in 5.45, one of these rifles imported by Century Arms.

- Looking to add some new furniture and likely mount optics on it anyone with links to some vendors with goods that will fit this rifle I would appreciate it.

I'm probably going to build this rifle up and sell it eventually, but I would like to install some functional items and some look-nice hardware first.

The Polish Tantal takes different furniture than any other AK, so finding anything may be hard to do. Also mounting optics won't be easy either. If your Tantal has the left side selector, then a side mount won't work, and the top cover mounts will not hold zero. I don't know anyone that makes a gas tube mount for the Tantal for use with a red dot or scout type scope. So you may just have to learn to love it as it is, but good luck finding whatever tacticool stuff. Personally I don't think you can improve on the Tantal as is. Wrap some para cord around the butt stock and enjoy.

What Moose458 said, but. . .

You can change the butt stock out if you want to. The wire folder it has (as well as EG, and RO varieties) was designed to be used on fixed stock guns (instead of retooling the factory to produce side folding receivers)

I would take it out and shoot it first, if its one of the many Century build that used 5.56 barrels instead of 5.45 you may just want to redump it cheap or send it back to Century (if they will still fix them). I would make sure you have a working rifle before investing more money in. See if the bullets keyhole.
