Another vote for Nu Finish, been using it for years.
i just ordered some From Jeff, he’s dropping it off sometime today... then I can tumble 500 5.7 brass.

then tomorrow I’ll tumble my 7.7 factory Japanese brass! cost me on an average of $.30 used and $.65 new! Arasaka project soon!!!

My Frankford additive gets hard too, I just use a screwdriver to bust it up & add a little water to turn it back to a liquid. Works fine after that. Keep it sealed in cooler area & it won’t get hard.

I keep it outside with my tumbler. that and decaping is something i try to do outside... Water! alright!

Car wax, lots of flavors for dry. (I liked Flitz tumbler polish when I was dry tumbling)

I would not recommend adding car wax to wet.
I tried it once thinking shinier brass. Nope.
Everything came out covered with grey slime:cuss:, major pain to clean the brass, pins and inside of the tumbler.
If anyone has done it and it worked I would be interested to hear about it.
For me it was a major mistake, hours cleaning up the mess.
