Poll: Sig P239 vs Kahr P9/CW9 for CC

I owned a CW9, liked it but not that much, sold it to a gal pal and it is her carry gun. Took some rounds to become dependable, like most Kahrs. I now carry a 239 in 357 Sig, it is bigger and heavier but they have night sights which I personally like, the price tag is much more so as stated it is not a fair comparison. The Sig is also much more accurate and feels much better in my hands, I carry it in a Galco OWB on a good belt so the size and weight makes no big difference. If I was budget conscious I would pick the Kahr, if not the Sig, mine is one I will never sell.....

A CW9 is so light and concealable. Its also a 9mm too.

The P239 is a quality gun, but so is the P9, and the CW9 only sacrifices a little quality for a big price drop.

I think the P9 gets the edge, it's thinner, with basically the same capacity as the P239, slightly less shootable, but very much more concealable.

Exactly what I would say. I love my K40, and would love one of the polymer Kahrs.

I carry the PM9 during the hot months (Oklahoma), took a few rounds to break it in, since then no issues. Doesn't like Wolf or cheaper FMJ;s, but accepts all name brand JHP ammo. Its thin, easy to conceal and shoots ok at < 20 or so yards.
