Can polymer bullets be used in rifles with rough bores? Just wondering what the results might be in running poly coated bullets in rough/lightly pitted barrels at cast velocities (2000 fps or less according to load data)?

Probably going to chew them up unfortunately. On the upside they are cheap and generally available enough you could buy a 100, load 10 at a modest load, and shoot them. After you shoot, a bronze brush and some Kroil shouldnt have any issue removing any coating that may or may not be left over. If they work, great. If not, they are cheap enough you could use the rest of the box as a paperweight and not be out alot of cash.
