Portable shooting table

Our favorite chairs and tables come from Lifetime: https://www.lifetime.com

We use the 6ft fold in half and the 4ft and have one with telescoping legs for varying the height as well. The chairs are the best. We stick pretty consistently with 30 inches in depth.

Same here. I quit fooling around looking for a “shooting table”. Got sick of wasting money. These folders work just fine.

My new shooting table arrived this morning and it took about a half hour to figure out the instructions and assemble it. Then I had to figure out how to fold it up.

You have to remove three plastic knobs and put them in your pocket, or in the pocket on the table, then pop two brackets off their studs. It folds flat, but is heavy and takes up 49" x 25" of space.

I think the folding table and separate folding chair is definitely less stable and about the same amount of hassle to set up.

Weight of the folding table is listed at 19 lbs. Weight of the folding bench is 38 lbs. Table feels heavier than that, however. At least 25lbs.

Hopefully will have time on my weekend (Sunday through Tuesday) to test it out.

But the folding bench is looking like it will be just fine.

I have one of those Shooters Ridge deluxe shooting benches and never took it out of the box. Probably should get rid of it. But the shipping would be huge.

I bought one at home depot this morning. Thanks for the idea. View attachment 991788
We use that same one as a work table to put our tools on. I wanted to buy one as a shooting table but ended up getting the non adjustable one that doesn't fold in half, legs just collapse up into it. It's a great multi purpose table and for setting all your shooting gear. I leave it in my work rig and use it for different stuff.

Took my new shooting bench to the range today and it worked perfectly! Very happy with it. The only negative is that it could use a little more surface area since it felt crowded when my range bag was on it, so it had to stay on the ground when shooting. But, it was stable and everything was the perfect height for me, and I'm 6'2".

Also picked up a target stand made by MTM Casegard that looked like it would do better in the wind than the previous one I tried. It did. Worked great and was much easier to use than the other.
