Herters and Academy house brands also made largely by Tula in Russia, as is Wolf. The newer Red Army Standard AK ammo with the purple seal on the case and primer are made in Russia by Tula. The older Red Army Standard was made in Ukraine, it had a UL headstamp on it.

This CAATSA Section 231(d) list is a broad sweeping stealth ammo ban, period.

Only company I can find not snared is Barnaul (Brown Bear). If any of these brands have production capability in Poland, Ukraine, etc, for now, products manufactured in those areas appear to be spared

I'd rather do business with the Russians.

Apparently so would lots of other people.

Solntsevskaya Bratva's revenue is about 3 times that of the Sinaloa Cartel's. The big difference is Sinaloa's market happens to be mostly in the US where Bratva's market is worldwide, including the US.

Do you have a smart phone? If so have you upgraded your OS lately?

I do in fact like the Silver Bear ammo for both .308 and .223 - they are Barnaul Mfg and like you said, they should be spared. Thank you for the good info!
