Anybody finding any after Christmas deals? Will there be deals? With all these good things happening for gun right should we expect the price of ammo and guns to come down in the coming year of 2017?

AIM Surplus sent me an email with deals, but that's all I've seen.

How much lower can new gun prices get, particularly AR's, and have quality manufacturers keep a decent profit margin to stay in business? The American way seems to be to buy the cheapest product, i.e., Harbor Freight, and cause better quality, but more expensive, items to disappear.

Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore is still running their S&W sale, and added AR's and AK's

The only reason I don't order a few is because my preference is with the 'real Tanker mags' (20-rds.) made in Hungary.
They have been $35-40 lately and really like the ergos.

If you folks' contacts with guys in the intell. community indicate that ISIS could pop up in west TN, I will then order a few Croatian 30-rounders. But the ergos might still be a problem.

I have noticed several of the bulk brass and bulk bullet sellers offering significant discounts after the election both before and after Christmas.

Local stores have 22LR for as low as $2.49 a box with no limits on quantity

The perception that the President-Elect is a strong 2A supporter seems to have calmed a lot of the panic buying that the sellers within the reloading community were relying on to sustain their growth. I expect sales in that market to continue to decline as people start spending money on shoes, clothes, cars and household necessities that they had previously deferred, so that a "shake-out" amongst these sellers is inevitable, so watch for short-lived sales as they either struggle to stay in business or start to liquidate. .
