How about a picture thread of Compensated Barrels? I'd be especially happy to see a 1911 and a Taurus/Berreta. Any kind of barrel modification would be cool. Thanks.

The vortex flash supressor on my HK serves as a compensator, significantly reducing recoil.

Far from stock.... That gun started life as a plane Jane carbon steel SA 1911 and was built by one of the all time greatest 1911 ‘smiths, Steve Nastoff. Check out the hammer.... ;)

The only compensated handgun i own is my sweet shootin Hi-Point in 9mm.Ive already posted the pic so i cant do it again. Its truly amazing that a manufacturer like Hi-Point will put a compensator on a gun in that price point.

    OK folks, question time.

Do the ports make it difficult to shoot in dark/lowlight conditions? Do you get a lot of flash coming up in front of your eyes?

    Thanks,

I shot 50rs of WWB 115 gr FMJ and 16 rds of Rem GS 127gr through the compensated hipoint C9 today and didn't notice and increase in muzzle flash when compared to my G17 or G19, which I also shot today as well.
