I'm usually content to lurk, but since theres another mohawked individual about, I decided I should probably show myself.

I don't have a recent picture in my 'going to work' clothes. Have to do that some time soon.

It usually consists of a short sleeve collared shirt, over a white cotton undershirt, a pair of blue jeans or khakis, and a good pair of boots, Corcorans at the moment, and maybe a watch, fo-rolex or nice looking timex. If it's cold enough, I've got a near full length leather duster/trench with a removeable wool liner. Nice'n toasty even in the snow.

Carry gear is a gooberment model 1911 carried crossdraw on my left hip, I use an Uncle Mikes cheap-o IWB. Works very very well for me.

I don't imagine that duster looks anything like this, http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/content/Item/92/24/37/i922437sq02.jpg , does it?

Nope. Mine was fitted and made for me by a nice native fellow in Korea, I believe the place was called Oxford Leather Shop. Why is there a leather shop called Oxford in Korea? I have no idea, but it's a very nice coat.

The whole thing is leather excepting the liners. It's a very soft glossy black leather, and stops just below midshin on me. The actual 'duster' shoulder covering comes off, wool liner comes out, and the back can unbutton up to about mid-thigh to make it into two 'flaps', converting the duster into a much lighter trench.

Ah, I found thier rather slow webpage. http://www.oxfordleathershop.com/index1.html

EDIT: Here's a rather dated picture of myself wearing the coat.

Dood, nice hair.

I've got a very similar Outback duster, but without that wool liner. In cooler weather, I wear it over fleece. Works great. Very nice apparrel for here in the great North Wet.

Makes me feel like a slightly older  version of Neo when I wear it, even if I don't have his arsenal to carry in it.

Only thing is, it should have come with a users manual. Figuring out all those snaps - 'specially ones up around the neck - seems to require an advanced degree that I don't have. :(

Gonna have to make a few pics for posting sometime.

Is it ok for me to laugh at that?
It's pretty awesome...in a funny way.
Something about how small the gun looks, the expression on your face, the helmet and the cigarette doing the thing from Ghosbtusters...
Good pic. :D

This is a photo of me from a year or so ago, before I joined the military. Note the long hair. :p

I'm not surprised. I thought they were pretty cool myself. I just don't understand why you're keeping them secret.

I'm waiting until I can get the forearm and stock on my AR painted with a matching pattern.

I bet it's because they're pink.

Nah, couldn't find pink ones in my size, darn it all to heck. :p

OK, come on, Wasabe man. Let's seem 'em.

You know, I might just let this go for awhile, just to let the suspense build...

I was at the beach...

My wife said, "Nobody is going to bother us here."

I said, "What about sharks?"

Sometimes she has no sense of humor...

And then my mother-in-law comes out and looks at me and I say, "What?", and she says, "A man like you shouldn't wear a bathing suit like that."

"I'm not sure how to take that, mom."

"Take it any way you like, just go put some clothes on."

Now I know where my wife gets it from...
