Ok time for an old pic... Halloween, circa 1992... Mister Pink anyone? The gun is not so real, the drink is...

well, I don't have any of me, but for whatever reason my roommate's friend decided it would be fun to have some pics taken tonight. so here we go, with absolutely unloaded, triple-checked weaponry:

Emily, attempting to look tough:

Ann, being.. well.. Ann, just with a rifle. and freshly out of the shower. this was spur of the moment, after all.

so... you shouldn't bring a knife to a gunfight, right? how about bringing guns to a knife fight?

I know I'm going to hear it any way, but note: no fingers on triggers, and chambers checked and rechecked.

*edit* what the heck is the code to show pics in the actual post? I see HTML doesn't work.. */edit*
*edit part deux* figured it out */edit part deux*

MDG1976,

Love your pics, especially the pretty girl with minigun . Yeah, that minigun makes me drool all over the keyboard, but what the heck, it's not mine (public access point).
Only image I have sucks, camera had enough juice for this shot only as the cameraman forgot to charge the thing. Anyway there's CZ75B, Mossberg 590, HK G3 (several of them, from mine only strap is seen, on right shoulder) and binoculars (to spot zombies for artillery:what: ).

Erik,

Remind Ann to keep the gun at 'low ready'.

If I've done my homework correctly (I'll trust the combat vets to correct my mistakes), if it's up too high, like in that third pic, it's too easily overcome. Humans have less muscle strength with arms fully extended above the head.

Better to keep it pointed UP from a low position, then jab up (as in 'through the abdomen through the diaphragm into heart and lungs').

And, if either Ann or Emily should be bored some night and desire the company of a slightly older but totally rocking man, shoot me (a PM).

;)

My Favorite Fashion/Carry Shot

CIRCA 1930s - "THE BIG D" - JOHN DILLINGER. When I was a kid in the '40s I used to play in one of John's early hideouts in the underground passages of the old carbarns in Mooresville, Indiana. I always liked this "Dapper Dillinger" pose he staged for the Hoosier newspapers of that era. 45Broomhandle

Ok, so that's really not me.
But this is:

Shooting someone's Tokarev, I can't quite remember who it belongs to. I think my friend Andy...anyway, and my Service Six, slung lazily on a crappy belt.

Not really a fashion pic, but WTH?

Yes, I know... but before I get railed on -- I have changed my ways. I absolutely always wear eye protection now. ;)

Wow.

A lot of these pictures belong in the "Tick Off a Blissninny" thread.

Here's my fashionable "evening before muzzleloader elk hunt" pic taken by my wife.
