Got it used for $350 + tax. Best deal I've ever gotten at a gunstore.

Here's a 44 spl conversion. Got a flat top 44 spl coming this week with a long barrel. Can't wait to see it.

I really need to work on my Ruger collection I don't have nearly enough compared to others. Anyway here's two of mine. I'm especialy fond of the Mk II. It's the first handgun my father ever purchased himself and the first handgun I ever fired. It will hopefully be the first handgun my future children will fire as well. As far as I know he purchased it in the early to mid sixties. I'll have to ask him about it again, he gave it to me a few years ago. I first fired it at about the age of 6 in the latter seventies.

I'll have this in the woods this afternoon....44 Mag Super Blackhawk

This is my bride's gun...
Pretty stock. I just added:
Hogue Gips
Wolf Spring (w/a little stone work)
It now has a WONDERFUL trigger.

It's a sweet shooter. I'm trying to whack
some doe with this gun. Maybe tonight.

I've already whacked 3. A buck & doe with
my Savage 25-06 and another doe with my
wife's pre-WW2 Model 70 (.270 cal)

It's time to whack 'em with the Ruger!!

I only have one Ruger, but I think she's pretty. The picture is from a website as I've not had a chance to take a picture of my own.

Some of these pics are outstanding. Maybe a 'photography techniques' thread would be a good idea.

targetshootr ... in case you hadn't taken a peek . I did a mini site some while back on image stuff generally ... within which are some suggestions for approaches to this. It's Image Matters - tho there's a link like this in the THR Library section.

It might help a bit ... tho since we changed to VBulletin V3 ... I may need to update the methods of posting ... when I have time!

That's an awesome link, p95. I will use it before I take any more pics. Usually I take a bunch and then pick out the best of the lot. Which gives you an idea of how bad the others were. heehe

Here's the Ruger family portrait. The GP is wearing Hogue Coco Bolo grips now.

The revolver is way better than the photography.

Ruger KGP-141 with a Pau Ferro monogrip top finger groove only.

My GP-100. By far my favorite Ruger, this puppy will clear a table of bowling pins in about 4 seconds :D

My other Ruger revolvers are a .357 Vaquero, a .32 Mag Single Six, and a spurless SP-101 -- but they're all stock, so I won't bore you with photos.
