Alrighty. No picture available, since results wasn't so great. Four rounds of .45 hit it (still getting used to the thing, have a pretty rotten flinch) - top and bottom ends of the 10-ring, two on the six ring - the other three were south of the target, but still on paper. The .32... seemed to hit on target, at random points - 1 10 ringer, 2 9s, 2 8s, 1 6, 2 5s.
Not a real suprise to me - I know I'm a rotten shot - but I do like the notch & post sights on a the CZ-70 better than the rectangular blocks on the 1911... Apparently, I'm a little better with the .32 as well (though it did seem to have more muzzle flip - or else it recoiled faster than the .45, dunno for sure).
Introduced my 13-year-old brother to the .45. Gave him one round in the mag, made sure he had his plugs in, gave him a pizza box to shoot at. Loved it, and ran back to reload the thing (why do people act like that after shooting their first .45? I did the exact same thing when I shot it). Good muzzle discipline, trigger discipline too. Put all five rounds into the box (eighteen by eighteen inches or so). Seems to like it better than the .32.
Guns used:
1911 Springfield Armory GI45, firing Remington 230 Grain FMJ UMC on a day with very little wind.
CZ 70 in .32 ACP, firing 8 rounds of Remington 71 Grain MC, same day, same target (hit so few times with the .45 that the target was re-useable).
P.S. Both guns fired using the non-rested, two handed Certified Ninjistu Weav-osceles stance.
