Slow fire weaver stance at 15 yards, 100 rounds WWB w/ Les Baer Concept II
The sights are dead on, it's because of me that the shots are going slightly left. Slowly but surely the shots are going moving to the right as I get more trigger time. I don't think my shooting is all that bad considering I've only been shooting for a year.
This is from a 45 ft. 10 shot target ,fired off a horizontal rest under the elbows , slow aimed fire, Put a colored center stick- on so 65 yr. old eyes can see it easier. Group is 2 " even and 2 and three quarter inches with flyer.
Fired with M&P 9mm standard pistol. 115 Gr. JHP UMC.
I was about to leave for the range today, and notice a couple of these targets I printed out a while ago, so I finally took them with me and shot a few rounds. Both were 5 rounds shot at 15 yards, standing, 2-handed, shot double action.
This is a fantastic way to allow us new shooters and maybe a few old hands to compare apples to apples so we know where we stand. I've printed off three of the "regulation" pdf targets and I'll post the best of the three after I get out to the range this coming Wednesday.
A huge number of the results shown here humble me to the extreme as I'm a new handgunner and have 55 year old nerves and eyeballs to boot. But that doesn't make me NOT want to try this out. Even us old guys have to have goals....
I think I'm going to get out the distance glasses for this one......
I'll try again with the PDF targets from this thread, but the ones in the picture below are just about the same size. Distance was 50 feet, duelist stance, six shots evenly spaced on three bullseyes. The last two shots were worse from a combination of arm fatigue and a fouled bore.
