It appears that the supply of powder is getting better. I was just at Cabela's and for the last several months they have had almost nothing, just some shotshell powder. Today they had a bunch. I bought 3 pounds. Now if we could just get some primers and bullets, we'd be sitting pretty again. There were NO pistol bullets to speak of, except .41 and 500 S&W. Not even hollowpoints, of which they usually have a bunch due to their higher cost.

I went to Carter Country in Houston on Monday. I bought a rationed 500 small pistol primers, but they didn't have any powder.

Local shops seem to have plenty of powder although not all types all the time. Two local gunshows recently had quite a bit at $18-$20 per pound.

Ditto. Even saw a few pounds of Varget. No H4895.

Exactly 2 boxes of small pistol primers in the whole show for $60/1000.

The only bullets I can find are plated and lead, no FMJ anywhere.
