I was able to pick up 1,000 of the 230gr RN Powerbond bullets last night and want to run a suggested load by you experts. I have done a bit of research, and this appears to be a middle of the road load for these bullets using Unique powder.

45 ACP: 6.0gr Unique powder, Powerbond 230gr RN bullet, 1.260” OAL

Can anyone confirm my findings?

Thanks in advance,

Warner

Just looked at my notes, and I had 6.2 gr at 1.210" for some Hornady FMJ on my last .45ACP loads.

I've tried Unique in all the handgun calibers I load, and it's a really good powder for me. I'm not looking for bunny fart loads, and I like that the charges will take up a fair amount of space in the case, so double charges are very evident.

Good info so far guys...thanks. I'll have to see which powder disk throws how much powder on my Lee turret press and find something workable.....seems like 6-6.5 grains of Unique should work.
