Does anyone know of a PPK sized .22LR? I've seen the Firestorm but can't find them anywhere. I have a Daewoo DP52 that is fantastic but I only have one magazine for it and I shoot the thing so much that once the mag goes I'm SOL on that. Searched high and low for mags for it; none to be found. A friend has a Beretta Bobcat (smaller than PPK) that has FTF problems. This is just a farm gun I carry in my atv but I use it a lot. I just love the PPK form factor for a .22

    Any ideas?

    S&W 2213, 2214.

    Quick search for a picture:

These 2213/2214 are just like the 422/622, only smaller.
Here is a video showing the 422 and how easy these guns are to take apart and reassemble for cleaning.

I highly recommend the 422, with 4" barrel, for what you want to do with this gun.

I want another 422, 4". The gun is excellent for teaching new shooters, accurate, and so light, one will forget they are carrying it.

The easiest little .22lr to find my be the Walther P22. You may find an older Iver Johnson TP22, or American Arms PX22 for around $150 or so.

Man, it seems to me that Bersa is missing the boat not making more Firestorm 22's. It seems a lot of people wants one, but no one can find them. I picked one up for my wife years ago, and she loves it. It was her carry gun for a couple of years until she made the decision to upgrade to a G-19, but she put thousands of rounds through that little Bersa. It only wanted to run 100% with CCI mini-mags, but she could put them into a coffee cup at 7 yards. Good little guns. Keep looking. Check the auction sites.

If you don't mind a revolver, you might think about a Ruger Bearcat.

Many of us have complained for some time that S&W was missing the boat by not making the PPK available in .22 caliber. Then again, given the current issues with the S&W-made PPKs, that might be a blessing in disguise.

But if you are looking for a PPK-sized .22, why not get a real, honest-to-goodness PPK? The German- (Walther) and French-made (Manuhrin) guns are of superb quality and reliability; nothing else on the market matches up. If you shop around, you can often find some reasonable deals on them, especially the Manuhrin models.
