I just heard about the PPQ in 22lr. Does anyone have one? How have the reviews been. Is is very ammo picky?

I am really interested in this, but I do not want a Umarex zinc alloy gun. No offense to Umarex, I know some people have no issue with them, I just rather not.

Wather's website list is as steel as the slide material on the 5" model and Aluminum on the 4" models, which makes no sense to me. Seems like the longer slide would need to be lighter and not heavier.

I don't like the sights and would want to change them if and when possible. ....I've tried at least six different ammo brands in it and have not had any issues.....but I will say that I like it more and more every time I shoot it.....it's become very accurate (I'm sure it's just me), and seems to run smoother the more I use it......especially if you want something as close as possible to manual of arms of a PPQ, this is it.....should be able to get a 4" right around $300 I think......it's my favorite 22lr Pistol at this point......over my Ruger, Browning, and Berrettas

Hate to burst your bubble, but it's just another Umarex potmetal gun.

The "shield with 3 crowns" proof mark on the .22LR PPQ barrel (a bit blurry in this pic) confirms that this is an Umarex product and not a real Ulm-manufactured Walther product.

Ok, so it is most likely Umarex, but not potmetal. Well the Umarex part is disappointing, but at least the materials are good
