Okayfine - The opening scene will be enjoyed by more than a few THR folks... That's all I'll say...

Then, in my humble opinion, it starts to go downhill... They're takin' the Gunny into central Europe, to cap someone that thinks he's Milosovich. They're giving him a partner, who is allegedly qualified, and sprung from death row in Leavenworth for the mission. Oh yeah - the partner is played by Bokeem Woodbine (who I actually sorta like as an actor). WHY, other than to maybe attract some folks to the flick, would they have someone black going "undercover" into a war torn country that is predominantly caucasian? Yeah, that makes sense... Then there's the "bonding quiz" where the Gunny asks the Woodbine character what the aiming point would be for a 750 yard target at 19 degrees of elevation or some such... No mention of the rifle's zero, no mention of wind, temperature, humidity, _cartridge used_, etc... The answer tho, was "24.17 inches" or something close to that... Hmpff... Or maybe I've screwed up, and 24" or so is the trajectory difference from the 19 degree elevation... Maybe I'm goin' off half cocked...

Maybe I'll watch the rest of it. Eventually.

Tonight's movie is a WWII submarine-based ghost story called Below which I've heard is excellent.

    Suckage!

The funniest part was when he picked up a "Mauser" and said how great they were yada yada yada, when in fact it was a Mosin Nagant!
