Price check AMT hardball longslide?

Have a chance to buy the fully assembled top end only (Slide, 7in. bbl). A friend of mine is looking to sell his and asked me to make an offer. What is a fair price? What would it go for? I know nothing about AMT's value/collectability or performance.

AMT's are not collector's items. Their quality ranged from good to horrible. I think most, if not all, of the parts were castings. If the slide, barrel, and its smaller parts are in spec and in great condition, I think $200, maybe a bit more would be about right. Now this is just a guess, since few AMT parts get sold.
