Price check on .357 Winchester Trapper...Help

    what is the street price for a lever action .357 winchester trapper with a 16" barrel? a guy wants to trade me this gun and it is in very good condition. i think he bought it new about 20yrs ago.

    I've been shopping around for these lately, already owning one in 30-30.

    They're going on the auction sites, for anywhere from 450 (used, good condition) to 700 (excellent, unfired, etc.)

    I paid around $225.00 22 years ago, NIB, wouldn't sell mine for less than $600 right now. Mine isn't the Trapper model tho, shot probably 100 rounds thru mine, still like new. Have seen them at gun shows around here for $500 to $575, w/o box. Very good cartridge tho if you reload, really put the bullet dwnrange with a hard smack!

    I purchased an ~1974 win 94 trapper in 30-30 with a Williams peep site for $400, used but excellent condition IMO.
