S&W 638 ccw & for everywhere at home. Ruger Blackhawk .45 Colt in the bed stand, and Mossberg 12ga behind the bedroom door

Hoji;do you hav epics of the pups???I have had a lot of good luck and good memories with PBT's and Dobie's(by way of dru.org and pbrc.net)

I voted for semi-auto handgun and shotgun. The pistol is what I use to fight my way to the shotgun, then if the shotgun runs dry (8+6 on the sidesaddle) there is an AR ready to go (2 x 30 rd. mags).

After that I figure they got me and I might as well give up.

depends where im at in the house, i have a gun within reach in every room, but if im in my room its a star 9mm with winchester 115grn. jacketed hollow points, and an sks with target loads (target loads for less penetration).

well i gotta few but my first choice is my old montgummary{sp} ward Hercules single shot 20 ga cause i figure itll just be a bit more likely to hit something if i cant see cause its black as ...well, night out here. no lights of any kind other than the stars an moon this far out. next in line is a 925m 22 mag 8 shot bolt simply cause of a few more rds than the single 20ga, and lastly is my 1858 .44 repro, but only cause i keep it locked up in a case...an the smoke would NOT help at all in the dark either lol

ccsniper, by target loads"for less penetration", do you mean low velocity, or fmj? cause fmj i was shootin went through both sides of a oak crate with about 6-12 inches (3 in half and 6 2*6's in the other half to see what it could do) of poplar and pine an they still were hitting the dirt behind it all. ... just wanted to add a little info on that
