Has anyone ever got called on the carpet for printing, and how did you get out of it. I mean you were somewhere and another citizen said to you, "That Looks Like a Gun under your shirt", or somethink to that effect. As we all know especially during the summer months it is hard as heck to keep from printing, can't wait till winter gets here.

I've carried a lot of different places and several different pistols and never had a problem yet. When I first started carrying, I used to have the kids and wife look me over to see if they could tell. Finally quit that foolishness and got used to it. It is really surprizing the things people don't notice. Your overall outward appearance has a lot to do with people noticing or not.

Most people don't even notice OC, nevermind printing.

I've never had a problem, but I chalk that up to being in an OC state. Most people don't notice an OC, so a little printing is meaningless, for me.

Get a Uncle Mikes Sidekick pouch.

I wear mine in plain sight.

    Its not a fanny pack

it doesn't look like a holster.

You can wear it without a shirt if you're so inclined.

if asked, tell them it's your calculator or IPOD.

A USP Compact and an extra mag fits nicely and I have yet to even raise an eyebrow in 20 years of CC.

The only drawback is I can't draw it in 0.25 seconds.

Generally, I can unzip and have my hand on the stock within 3.0 seconds.

    I can live with that.

My secret is out, don't tell anyone else.

During the winter, more than 10 yrs ago, when I was a newbie at CC and at a private church function inside a neighborhood clubhouse... Had a small 9mm on my waist under a bulky sweater. The guy behind me asks with a smile: "what kind of pistol"? He said his cousin is a cop and he when he sees a bulge, he typically knows what's up. Not a problem, just another friendly gun enthusiast.

I had a lady behind me in a convenience store ask while pointing at my hip, "Is that bulge a gun?".

I merely said, "No, it's my colostomy bag."

I then payed for my items and left.

I consider CCW a personal thing and questions from the public a personal question. So, hopefully, I gave the lady a little embarrasment about asking strangers questions of a personal nature even though I fibbed a little.

No, but I outed an air marshal years ago. Dummy shows up in the waiting area wearing a leisure suit and an obvious bulge strong side. Asked him if that was a 1911 he was carrying and he pretended not to know what I was talking about. Caught the butt of his piece and told him he needed to dress so it didn't print so badly. He promptly stormed off somewhere. :)

I sat next to an air marshal a while back. I was the first to board the plane and he was already there. I wanted to ask him what he was carrying, but I didn't want to be face down in the jetway either. He read a book and I took a nap. I'm glad they're there.

General info on Uncle mikes all purpose belt pouch Product #554529 /$15.99

Midway has it in Basic black. Buy two.

    Try it you'll like it.

I just tried a full size 1911 and it would not fit.

It might hold two colt cobras.

I would think that any officers or commander semi would fit with no problemo.

Mine usually last a couple of years each before I abuse it to death. At 15 bucks its disposable.
