I would like to gather some opinions on what you guys would carry on some PMC stuff.

Scenario is ship work. Long hauls two weeks on two weeks off.

I'm thinking HK45 and some kind of AR probably a 308.

What would you guys carry?
 
Harpoon, cutlass, and an abysmal vocabulary would be my choice.
What are your rules of engagement? Where are you going and what are the laws regarding firearms once you get there? What are your rules of engagement? What sort of opposition are you expecting? What are your rules of engagement? How many other security guys are on the boat? What are your rules of engagement? Are you going to make an attempt to coordinate equipment? What are your rules of engagement? What guidelines has the company laid down regarding equipment? What are your rules of engagement?

IF you had PMC work, you wouldn't be asking, trust me

I'm just a lowly little 1 tour in Iraq Infantryman in the Guard.

I know about ROE it sucks I know.

I've been coming to THR for quite some time.
and I'm humble enough to know a good place when I find it.

To all those that care, its an offer that I haven't taken yet. Protecting oil shipments.
International waters. Guns are kept on board and they cannot leave the ship.
( Other than training times )
I guess the enemy would be ( dun dun daaaaa ) Pirates.
 
I'd vote for an abysmal vocabulary and a cutlass as well. Bonus is that talk like a pirate day is EVERY SINGLE DAY for you if you take that job. Rum rations of 1 quart a day better be included too.

Or just talk normal and carry whatever flavor of blunderbuss ERRR rifle you like.
 
Like I said.

Am I the only one that catches warnings & the occasional ban for trolling... you know what maybe shadow was right.

Different scenario, but same vein as Bug Outs, SHTF, Zombies, Red Dawn, Apocalypse or Mardi Gras.

Everyone chimes in with their favorite gun no matter how unrealistic their choice is or how silly the scenario.
