***pro-gun Rally In St. Paul Saturday***

If you haven't heard there will be a pro-gun rally at the capital this Saturday. It will take place on the steps of the capital from 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM. We need as many people as possible to attend so please consider being there if you can. I was at a Senate hearing recently and you would not believe what some people are trying to do to gun owners. I'm not just talking about concealed carry issues; this affects anyone who owns any type of gun. These anti-gun amendments get slid in under the radar and we don't even know it until it is too late. We have to send a clear message to the opposition that we will not stand for this, and we are a force to be reckoned with. Open carry is not being advocated at this rally, we are still trying to get the MPPA re-instated so let's not rock the boat too much this time. If you do plan to carry concealed you must first send notice to the Commissioner of Public Safety. Please dress neatly as there will be lots of news media present taking pictures. We want to make a good impression.

The opposition is sure to show up too so we want to bury them with numbers. Please everyone try to be there if for only part of the rally.

It would be great to have as many women and kids as possible there too so try to bring your wives, girlfriends, both if they don't fight, and rent some kids if you don't have any of your own. Please pass this to as many people as you can who you think would be interested and help our cause. Feel free to contact me if you have questions, I'll try to answer them as best I can.

Havegunjoe, I don't want to do one of those lame "I'll be with you in spirit" cop-outs, but I'll be gone to Mountain Warfare School for the army starting on Friday. Anything I can do in lieu of being there? I've already sent letters to the politicos across the river in Clay county. I'll spread the word to anyone I know that could attend. If you think of any other ideas, please post them.

Army duty before the rally? Well I guess if you have to. Really man what you are doing defends our right to have this rally. Just spread the word to as many as possible and good luck with your training.

The rally was today. I think we had over 200 people show up despite the rain and the short or lack of notice.

No antis showed up to counter protest.
