problem with priming speer cases?

has anyone had issues seating primers in Speer cases? trying to reload some speer 223 cases with tulammo SR primers and they just dont seem to fit? (too tight) no issues so far with LC, WWC or FC cases. am I missing something?

If they are tight, then either use a reamer and ream the pocket. Or don't use that speer brass and use it for trade bait, or change primers.

I've always found Speed brass primer pockets a bit on the tight side. With primers made from toughter metal I can very easily see how they go in hard.

I load with a bunch of Speer brass and find the tighter primer pockets a +. Since I often run stout loads that are up around maximum, it helps the life span of primer pockets a little bit. The only real issue I've noticed with Speer brass is that I find about 1 in 10 have flash holes that are excessively out of spec., half moon or very small flash holes. But that gets resolved during trimming, so it really hasn't been a problem for me.
