the ONLY problem with the NRA is....there are NOT enough NRA members.

if YOU are not a NRA member at the BENFACTOR level... NOW is the time to join or upgrade your NRA membership.:)

Explain that please? I've asked before, here and on other forums, about getting a reduced-price Life membership. How does that benefit either me or the NRA more than just renewing every time my membership comes up? I never get an answer, and I really would like to know.

i know im going to take a TON of flack for this statement, but i really, truly, and completely do not trust the NRA whatsoever.. in december they were VERY quick to throw the first amendment under the bus by trying to place blame on video games, media, music all protected.. or to support mental health checks which lets face it, the federal government would be able to dictate any excuse they wanted to deny our rights to own guns as made evident in things that have been happening recently in new york state

at this point, i see them as little more than a lobby for gun manufacturers.. they will do everything to convince us the 1968 gun control act was for our own good, they later supported the background checks, both opening the doors to the restriction of gun ownership not only by felons, but people with certain misdemeanors and likely soon, all misdemeanors and i just see an all together complacency and a lot of concessions being made to appease the anti-gun lobby at a detriment to the second amendment and the constitution

i will NEVER be an NRA member, not now, not ever, and especially not after i hear them claim to somehow be champions of the constitution on one hand, then completely throw that same constitution under the bus later on.. sorry, but the "please dont restrict guns, here.. take the first amendment instead" speech blew it for me
