First I will start by saying wow! this thing is great. i got to put it to the test for the first time today. during day and night fire sessions.
product info.
The m6 has a light and laser in one. there are to toggle swithces, one on the right and one on the left of the light housing. if you push down on the left it is a momentary switch and comes on as long as you hold down the switch. if you push down the right side and it clicks it will saty on unil you push up on the witch and relaese it. the selector knob on the bottom, allows you to switch what comes on when the toggles are depressed. either offwhere nothing comes on, light only, lsaer only, or light and laser together. it is a really tuff built light with great fit and finish, the light is really bright, and the laser is as well which allows for a quick target aqustion. the light slides onto the weapons light rail and positivly clicks in place and is locked solidly in position.
I was happy to learn that the laser was right on the money out of the box when paired with my xd service model. i was able to put 10rds almost as fast as i could pull the trigger on target at 10meters at night, in pitch black, and made a beautifill 10rd cluster in the center of the paper plate which was my target, with iron sights and light only, and with the laser as well. so to say the least i am very excited about it and love my xd even more now and can't wait to do some more low light shooting again! get one, two or ten they are awesome and worth every bit, and just to think it didn't cost me anything!:)

i know this is an old thread but, i have an update to add. i was able to shoot again at night with it, and using just the regular sights and the lashlight i was able to hit metal swiners at 30yds all day long, great investment, and a great tool.

yeah but isnt it halogen instead of LED? I think the TLR-2 is made better. How many lumens is the M6?
