Also concerned about the P-11. I have one, great gun, but no "fun" shooting it. Maybe a lady smith 3913?

I was trying to remember a nice revolver they showed us at the store a while back. It was a .380, S&W I believe the thing had like no weight to it. She wanted to look at that but also she wants to do some test firing at the range too. Should be a fun time.

Awesome news XD Fan. I love bringing new shooters to the range. I have learned after the first couple that a quick safety primer with a full weapon tear down, reassembly (to fully ensure the weapon is unloaded) and snap caps to go through safety rules, clearing jams, etc can help reduce issues and build a certain level of comfort before it is time to fire.

it also allows you to work on form, grip, etc so the first time at the range is not the first time they have actually touched the firearm.

Outstanding, I have been so blessed. My wife of 26yrs as of yesterday has always been behind me on guns and hunting. As a matter of fact for Christmas this year I got a Rem 870 H/D. In the past a Browning A-Bolt and several others. She also shot her first deer this year a 8 point, 160lb Buck. Sorry for ranting, I'm just very lucky and don't say it enough.

I'm happy for you Bro!

My first purchase for my wife was a Bersa .380. I showed her how to use...but she's never fired it:confused:. The funny thing is that my 9 year old girl ended up with it. Then last week, she told me that she wanted a Beretta or Glock. She's a real sucker for Italian stuff and brand names. Yey, another new gun for me:p. Since I didn't have any money, I traded it in my Ruger LCR and Taurus 24/7OSS yesterday for a brand new Glock 19. (I got $90 back):D. Now I just have to get her out to shoot it.
We started my wife on a Bersa 380...traded it real quick for a 9mm, as she felt it was too wimpy....wants a Commander size 1911 .45. She started working again after 25 years about a month ago - I think we take her gun shopping soon.

Congrats ... Hope she finds exactly the perfect gun for herself and enjoys shooting and the freedom of CC and may she never have to act upon it for SD, but thank God she will have the option.

My wife liked some of the info here too. www.corneredcat.com

My wife tends to like the wheel guns....

I bought her a Taurus PT58HC she likes it and Rossi .357 2"

She Liked my Taurus Tracker .41 Magnum ALOT!
