Posted here as I figured more in this section would have knowledge on the subject. Apologies if its in the wrong catagory.
Q- Can you tell what gen or trigger pack comes in a PS90 by the serial number alone? If not what maybe good signs its not the 1st or 2nd gen...all without field stripping it to see.
He did pull the bolt back and I saw grey internals which to my research says gen 2 but the 103XXX SN says its not.

Any information would be helpful.

Backstory below.
A friend working at a gunstore had a PS90 come in, used. Theyve got if fairly priced and have had alot of interest but it hasnt sold yet. He called asking me if I knew anything on the Generation or trigger pack. He said most people are asking what gen/trigger it has and without knowing the answer everyone passes on it.
He gave me the SN to research but I told him we would have to break it down to see which he doesnt want to do. Its a ma & paw type store so they dont feel comfortable messing with it but are curious if they can get more money out of it if they confirm which generation or trigger pack it is.

Since the trigger packs are interchangeable I wouldn't trust it by serial # of the gun even if there is a documented range. Reason being is the gen 1/2 trigger packs are worth so much more people swap them out and sell the trigger pack alone to make more money. If he could take a picture of the trigger pack for you that would help identify it, if not he may be out of luck. Wouldn't want to guess based on the serial # and advertise as a gen1 trigger pack only for someone to get it home and it isn't.
