I was perusing PSAs website and I saw something new. I had not heard of this before but the 10mm caught my attention.

Anyone have one of these? Noticed in the fine print it was a RI and I don't know if that is good or bad.

They look really nice, especially for the price point that they are selling at. Many gun enthusiasts love Rock Island, personally I am a Springfield Armory loyal customer but I would personally buy one of these if I was not thinning the herd.

RIA has made 10mm 1911s for quite a while, they make decent stuff.

It’s a nitch for 1911 lovers. I’d rather have 10-15 rounds of 10MM out in the field than an 8 rounds single stack 1911…

That Standard is interesting. No thumb scallops and a flat MSH, so, only a long trigger away from being a 1911A0 rather than more typical 1911A1 style.
An attractive price point of US$400.

I wouldn't mind a 10mm 1911 that had a rail option. I am pretty fond of the Dagger they build so this would be a great way for me to get into 10mm.
