I bought PSA upper with standard plastic hand guard and want to install a drop in hand guard with Picatinny rails. Bought generic brand from internet but id not fit into PSA triangulated end cup, too big for the cup, not going inside the cup and to small to go on top of the cup.
Need some advise.
Thank you

We might need a picture. If you have a "retro" triangular hand guard retainer, a "modern" round hand guard probably won't fit. OTOH there are front retainers that are made to fit both hand guard styles, you may have to swap retainers, which means removing the flash hider and front sight base. If you need to do this, I'd suggest switching to a railed "free-float" tube instead of just swapping retainers.

I have used the railed Cav Arms plastic hand guard, and they fit my round retainer just fine and worked well enough with a vertical grip, but I discovered vertical grips just aren't my thing so I'm glad I went cheap to find out.

Here it is

Looks like you got one of their basic stainless M4-style uppers? If so, likely the new handguard. Have a link to the new handguard?

Problem solved, bought Magpul MOE mid-length MAG 426 hand guard
