All. I have one of these ersatz Mosin snipers, which shoots very well indeed. I've been using Polish or Czech silvertip ammo. It is great for plinking, and shooting coyotes at great distances.
I'd like try some heavy ammo, 203 grain or thereabouts. Maybe some handloads. Some soft points or something.
My question, which I think I already know the answer to, is how will this different bullet affect the "zero" on this scope. I ask, as those of you who have had to zero one well know, because rezeroing is a PITA. I hope, but doubt nearly completely, that the windage will remain the same, and only the trajectory will differ.
I guess I can just adjust the knobs to accommodate any shift in zero.
...Maybe I'll just forgo this idea...
