• Possible Downtime Alert

I am working to migrate THR from the current cluster to a new one. I would like to get this done before the weekend, but it's unclear what the timeframe will be, as testing is still ongoing. As I am writing this the new (rebuilt) host is doing a burn-in to ensure that everything will keep running under load.

When the migration happens users will see a Cloudflare message indicatating it cannot connect to the server. This is expected, and depending on how the migration goes this may last from 30 minutes to 3 hours - I won't know more until testing the various migration options is complete and I have finalized the plan.

More information is available in this thread.

As always, thanks so much for your patience.

Pulling flush seated bullets

Pictures of how centered some cases are within the de-prime hammer, using their respective shell holders in lieu of the collet. Red mark on right is .45 ACP. Red on left is .38 Sp. No red mark is .45 Colt. Black mark is for orientation (slot opening down) to insure the case is all the way to side of tool cavity. I would guess that different shell holders would allow for more or less off axis placement. It is clear that the .38 would be a bit of a problem, should the primer come out of it's pocket. Small primer ACP, less so. It may well be best to not use the shell holder method. I might try to see if a sleeve, (short length of pvc/pcvc pipe perhaps) would keep a smaller case in place. Having re-visited the collet, it isn't as slow to use as I have come to make myself believe, and is certainly the way the maker of the tool intended it to be used.

I'm a born-again colletian.
