Pump Pneumatic for a Kid

Nice repair job !
Been playing with my 853, giving the Walther and me a break. Shot a personal best 95 offhand this week.
Back to the Walther though. Just got an email our indoor league is approved to start next week, 2 months late.

The Daisy Grizzly is a single pump pneumatic. Easier than cocking a Red Ryder, but kids will usually try to get more power out it by pumping more than once which will wreck the gun.
The Daisy 880 is a multi-pump and has a long, well designed pump handle. Far easier to shoot than the
Benji's, and accurate and powerful enough for rats, squirrels etc. Load it up with BB's and use it as a lead free repeater. For kids and grown up kids both.

I am sure my kid can do it, but I want him to be able to control the rifle and avoid pinched fingers, etc.
I'm not sure age has a lot to do with it. I got my first Benjamin pump pellet gun when I was about 11, and another when I was in my 20s, and at 72, I'm still able to pump my Sheridan "Blue Streak" just fine.
My wife on the other hand, doesn't touch my Sheridan, or my older Benjamin - EVER! About 30 years ago, she closed the Benjamin's pump handle on one of the protuberances from her chest.:eek::eek:
