Have to replace my Chicom magazine on my new Norinco AK with an American made magazine. It will then have the requisite number of 922(r) compliant parts.

The following has been ordered for me as a part of my purchase:

I would be interested in your opinion of the US Palm AK 30 round magazine or any others that you might deem of good or better quality.

Your link doesn't work; it's been shortened by the forum software where you originally posted this question.

IMO: replace the trigger group with US stuff (3 parts, about $40). Then you can run good chinese/russian/polish/bulgarian/yugo/egyptian/whatever foreign mags.

Good question: I assumed he'd already replaced the requisite number to allow compliance if using US mags.

Use the USA mags as a LAST resort. I think the base plate counts as one but that is as far as I would go with mags. European metal mags are cheaper, and more important MORE RELIABLE.
