Got the subject survey in the mail. What is your opinion as to the advisability of completing and allowing the NRA to publish/use the results from their 2009 National Gun Owner's Survey?

I have to agree. The information will provide demographics for the NRA. That serves the two purposes of being able to claim the members fit characteristics politicians pay attention to and supports the claim that we're a representative cross section of the population.

I mailed mine off a couple of days ago, the questions didn't seem invasive or unreasonable to me. I live in a conservative state so it probably doesn't much matter. Now if they start asking how many guns, type,etc.. that may give me pause.

Just filled mine out, it is in NO WAY invasive at all here in NJ either.

And I just wanna clear this up because I've seen some REALLY dumb rumors on the net about this.

IT DOES NOT ASK FOR YOUR SOCIAL
OR DRIVERS LICENSE
OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT

IT DOES NOT ASK ABOUT ANY QUANTITY, MAKE, MODEL, SERIAL, OR ANY INFORMATION AT ALL ABOUT ANY GUNS YOU OWN

I filled by mine out and sent a small donation. Believe me the NRA won't be giving out personal info on it's members even if it had any to give. If they ever did such a thing they would cease to exist.

I'm sorry but I don't have to prove anything to abnormal liberals. They just need to shut up and get out of my way.FRJ
