I was dry-firing my new FNP-9 earlier, and I noticed something strange, when I rack the slide then dry-fire it when it's still in SA mode I can hear and feel a click at the beginning of the trigger pull, then the trigger pulls normally. It doesn't do this when I manually cock the hammer, it only does it after racking the slide. I don't remember the one I dry-fired in the store doing this, it it normal?
edit- the best way to describe it is it seems like the trigger is resetting slightly too far forward, then when I lay my finger on the trigger and apply slight pressure it slips backwards into place with a small click, it doesn't do this if I apply slight pressure on the trigger while I rack the slide.

Anybody? I'd like to know whether or not this is just a design quirk before I send it to FN.

My FNP-45 does the same thing, and I've never had issues with it. I've only had about 1200 rounds through it though.
