Title pretty much says it all which Lemi shine are you using?
Just bought a Frankford rotary, which is awesome by the way, got some lemi shine and the results kinda suck compared to the solution included in the Frankford kit.

I got a yellow liquid which had "lemi shine rinse" on the label. The only other one I can find is a powdered lemi shine, is that the one I want?

Also came across this, same solution in the kit?

Thanks...Eric

I use the powdered Lemi-shine with whatever dishwashing detergent my wife has on hand. Usually Joy or Palmolive. Works good... Note, I have a Thumbler, which has a capacity of 15 pounds, which comes to a gallon of water (8 pounds) five pounds of pins and 2 pounds of brass. The Frankfort may be larger and need more Lemishine and soap.

Tendriver, the Lemi-shine is also a water softener, which I need because my water is very hard.

Hard water tends to be alkaline, since the minerals that make it hard are usually alkaline. I suspect that is one reason the Lemi-shine is acidic. If your water is soft, it could be neutral or acid. Might not need the Lemi-shine in that case.

JudgeDelta, I use the Frankford, they say in the instructions to limit the gross weight of the drum to 30 lbs. I can put over 1000 40 cal cases in there, 5 lbs of pins, full water, and it does not equal 30 lbs total. I now try to save up enough brass to do it in full loads, since the time to process (separate media, rinse, dry) a small batch is the same as a full load. I'm very happy with the Frankford.

The liquid lemi shine is a rinse agent, it keeps the dishes from getting water spots. Not really helpful or needed with the tumbler, Lemi shine powder works well for me but as said above citric acid does work as well. I have hard water so its lemi shine for me.

I occasionally use the Armorall wash n wax with the powdered lemi shine, not only shines like a diamond but also leaves a very thin layer of wax to maintain that shine. About a tsp of lemi shine and a tbsp of wash n wax to a gallon of water works for me
